Winter ONEderland Birthday Party by Erin Dove

Hi Shindigz Party Planners! It’s Erin from The Blue Eyed Dove. I call Indiana home and love living in a place that gets to experience all four seasons. Yes, I know several people have a love-hate relationship with winter and snow, but I like it!

When I first became a Party Stylist for Shindigz I knew I wanted to have a party that was themed all around snow. And it just so happened that my good friend’s daughter turned one this month. First birthday parties have to be special, and what could be more special than a girly-themed Winter Onederland party!? This might just be my favorite party ever!

Shindigz has the cutest Winter Onederland-themed products that are perfect for any girl or boy. They made my job {and party vision} really easy!

Since my Winter Onederland party was for a girl I wanted to include a lot of whites, silver, and a touch of pink.

Add a little paint and iridescent glitter to styrofoam letters to make an adorable statement piece that will have everyone asking how you made it! To dress up the dessert table I added an iridescent metallic curtain behind it {with hanging snowflakes} and an iridescent metallic table skirt.

These Winter Onederland dinner plates looked perfect sitting on top of a white charger and silver glittered placemat. And what’s a winter party without the silver glitter cutlery!? {Sitting on top of an ivory napkin of course.}

I glammed up the table by using white table cloths with a white fur table runner. Another option is adding a sliver sequins table runner instead of the white fur.

I also decorated the tables with white glitter light-up trees and some Christmas decorations.

To the give the party a little touch of pink I used the Winter Onederland-themed dessert plates and cups.

I used personalized party hats and candy tubes filled with pink and white gumballs for party favors. This Winter Onederland theme gives you plenty of options to personalize different party favors!

What’s a birthday party without balloons!? I added pink and white balloons {with silver and iridescent streamers attached} on both sides of the dessert table. And a silver number one mylar balloon behind the center of the table.

Someone used the word "magical" to describe this party. I couldn’t agree more. And really what could be more magical than a Winter Onederland!? Just the right amount of magic to make any one year-old’s party memorable!
