Vintage Varsity Graduation Party

Spring is almost here and that means that it’s time to start planning your graduation parties! Today we’re excited to show you one of our new themes for graduation, including all of our professional party planning secrets to make your day extra special. And don’t worry, these ideas are simple and won’t leave you covered in glue, staring at a DIY project gone wrong!

The Vintage Varsity Theme is ideal for the guy or gal that can appreciate the classics. It’s tasteful and trendy with a fun nod to a varsity letter. It’s sure to be a hit, whether or not your graduate actually lettered in a sport.

One of the most important details of any party is the food! Here we let guests know exactly what we were serving up with these cute little menus which were printed on Custom Stationary Cards. We also added fun Game Day Picks to the Sloppy Joe Sliders to hold them together and carry the party theme a little bit further, at only $2.61 for a pack of 50, it’s a great way to make a big statement for a small price.

Glass bottles of root beer are a fun nod to years gone by and of course, they are still a huge crowd pleaser! We added Water Bottle Labels to glass root beer bottles to achieve this look, but you can easily choose any of your family’s favorite bottled drinks and do the exact same thing!

For a different kind of look, you could buy a keg or any beverages in large quantities and serve them out of Drinking Jars. We added Personalized Stickers to make them unique for our grad, Kyle. Add some Vintage Paper Straws and your drinks will certainly delight all of your guests.

Let’s not forget about the dessert table! The Vintage Varsity theme allows a lot of room for creativity in desserts. Instead of picking up a generic cake at the grocery store, we opted for cupcakes lined with Vintage Varsity Wrappers and a popcorn bar. We also added some Personalized Candy Bars, just to make sure everyone’s sweet tooth was satisfied.

This look was created with Natural Craft Paper, Yellow Pennants, a Personalized Banner, a Light-Up Marquee Letter, Burgundy Bandanas Cheerphones, White Tin Pails, and Candy Containers.

The popcorn bar is a unique addition that really sets this party apart from others. We printed up another Personalized Stationary Card with a list of our topping choices (chocolate covered raisins, gummy bears, and chocolate chips) and served the popcorn out of Maroon Cheerphones (You can add caps for just 11 cents!)

To keep your guests entertained, pick up a Vintage Varsity Cornhole set…It will be a huge hit at the party and your family can enjoy it for years to come!
