Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star Gender Reveal Party
Gender reveal parties are an increasingly-popular trend and we are on board! This Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star Gender Reveal Party was too cute not to share.
Someone in our office is expecting a new little bundle of joy to join their family soon, so we did what any good party stylists would do…we hosted a party! Check out all our gold and teal details for this exquisite party and take notes for when you are next called on to host a gender reveal party or a baby shower.
Since this was just an intimate gathering for the expectant parents and their closest friends and family, we didn’t want to go overboard on snacks and desserts. We used this simple table as the focal point for the party. It featured a Welcome Baby Personalized Jointed Banner, a White Tulle Table Skirt, and a Mint Polyester Tablecloth as the base for stacking some sweet treats, drinks, and favors.
Instead of an extremely extravagant background, we used a chalkboard that was already in the kitchen, then just accented it with Hot Air Balloon Paper Lanterns hanging from the ceiling.
To wash down our cupcakes, we set out water bottles for everyone…but of course, we had to add a Twinkle, Twinkle label to them! Each sticker had two sides, so the first read, "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star," and the second read, "How We Wonder What You Are"
As a background for our candy buffet, we used strings of stars from the Gold Die Cut Star Curtain and accented the area with Gold 3D Wire Stars, which made the perfect transition to our activity table.
Interactive activities are such a fun addition to gender reveal parties. This activity ended in a sweet keepsake for the parents, too. We had guests leave a pink or blue thumbprint on this custom canvas. To create the canvas, we simply uploaded a photo of a tree and had it professionally printed through our site, so much easier than drawing a tree by hand!
We hope you enjoyed these tips for planning your own gender reveal party! The Twinkle, Twinkle theme is a customer favorite because it works for baby showers, too! How do you plan on welcoming your own little star into the world?
