Ideas for Decorating a Stylish Baby Shower to Welcome Your Little Star

When it comes to decorating a baby shower, sometimes, the colors blue and pink can become a little overwhelming. In order to give our new little star, Liam, a proper welcome at his shower,we decided to focus more on a Twinkle and a Shine when decorating!

Even though this celebration is for a baby boy, we think his mom should be celebrated too. In this post we are showing you the best tricks for an adorable DIY baby shower full of style for mom and personalization for baby with our Twinkle Twinkle-themed shower.

Here is an idea of what you can achieve with a couple simple tricks and some Shindigz supplies!

When putting together a stylish room, we used our Giant White Latex balloons with our Golden Foil weights attached to the bottom so they wouldn’t float away. When placing the balloons, we grouped three together to create some cohesiveness. With the grouped balloons we also used our 3D Wire Star Light to follow with the Twinkle theme and to create some ambiance.

For seating, we wanted to dress up our chairs by adding ribbon to them. We used mint colored ribbon to follow the Mint Twinkle Theme and also incorporated different textured ribbon to break up the design.

With Shindigz’s Twinkle Twinkle Baby shower theme, you have the option of personalizing your favors, tableware, and so much more! For tableware, we used the basic Twinkle Twinkle Party Pack, which comes with dinner and dessert plates, napkins and silverware. This pack also comes with cups, but we wanted to mix it up a bit and create Personalized Cups for baby Liam instead.

For our take-home favors we chose a super sweet combo of Personalized Favor Bags filled with golden star cookies and Personalized Candy Jars filled with our white candy. For some personalized snacks during the shower we used: Water Bottle Labels, Candy Bar Wrappers, and Cupcake Wrappers. This gave all of our guests the option to pick their favorites.

And remember: the Twinkle Twinkle Theme Baby Shower in the mint color is also a great option if you decide to do a gender-neutral baby shower!
