Peanuts Birthday Party by Jenny Dixon
Peanuts is a classic and timeless theme with so many creative ways to personalize it. For my son’s 10th birthday this year he asked for a Peanuts party. Charlie Brown is his favorite character, so we focused our design on the signature yellow with black chevron pattern of Charlie Brown’s favorite shirt.
The main dessert table featured an oversize yellow and black chevron design made from yellow wrapping paper and black corrugated cardboard. The birthday boy’s name was spelled out in large cheer letters spray painted yellow to match the theme. Oversize letters are a very fun and inexpensive way to add wow factor to any party!
These adorable Peanuts Friendship plates and napkins were the inspiration for the party!
Need a good game idea? Kids love this guessing game. Just fill a jar with candy and have kids guess how many (in this case) gumballs are inside. Closest guess wins the jar filled with candy!
It’s hard to believe my son is in his double digits now, good grief! I am so delighted that Peanuts and the gang were here to celebrate with him!
