Glitzy At Home New Year's Eve Party by Brittany Schwaigert
Do you and your significant other go out on the town to celebrate New Year’s Eve? The older I get, the more I want to celebrate at home instead of braving the crowds and the weather! It’s just too much trouble! I’d rather be in my jeans with my friends at home! So today, I’m going to show you how to make your at-home party just as fabulous! And just as fun!
I started my party design with this Bubbly Bar Personalized Photo Background. Instead of using it as a photo background, I used it as a backdrop for my table. It stands up on its own, which makes it perfect for a table backdrop! I love that you can add any name or personalization to it! How fun is that? On the front of the table, I used the black and gold floral sheeting as a table cover. I added an Off Black Sophistication Column on one side to add visual weight to the party and to have a place for my balloon installation to start.
Balloon installations are all the rage right now in the party world. And you can make one, yes you! Shindigz has all the supplies that you need to make one! All you need is the following:
All you do is inflate your balloons and insert the tails into the holes in the balloon tape. To make the arch look extra beautiful, add texture to it with differing sizes and colors of balloons. It’s really that EASY! It’s a huge impact for very little expense! And you can make one in any color! I taped the end of my balloon installation into the column to secure it.
What’s better than champagne and cupcakes? Answer: Nothing.
I served simple white cupcakes covered in Gold Shimmer Sugar Crystals Candyfetti®. Everything is better with Candyfetti®. These cupcakes look so sparkly now!
In the tops of the cupcakes, I inserted a paper straw with a 2017 ribbon.
I always love to send my guests home with favors and snacks for later. Champagne jelly beans are the perfect sweet snack to send home! I displayed them in small gold treat boxes lined with a bed of shred.
I also created these bubble gum tubes and personalized the labels to say "Time to Pop the Bubbly!" Pop the bubbly? Get it? I filled them with gold, black, and white gumballs. For a final touch of glitz, candlelight is always the best way to add ambience. I chose these gold glittered votives to add to my table for extra sparkle.
