Celebrate with Anna and Elsa!
The Disney’s Frozen 2 movie release is right around the corner and we’re celebrating by throwing the most epic birthday party for a special little one. We styled this party with on-theme Frozen 2 birthday party props and some fun DIY ideas for you to try at home.
Create an Icy Kingdom with Props & Balloons
When it comes to unleashing your birthday boy or girl’s powers, we believe that bigger is better. We started the festivities with a huge Frozen Kingdom background. We added Grace’s name to the background and included a fun balloon garland to frame the prop. We hung silver metallic curtains behind the background to add a touch of sparkle and an icy feel. Set up the Frozen Kingdom throne in front of the background for an instant gift-opening stage.
Build An Entrance Made for a Queen
Balloon columns are a fun way to create a grand entrance to your party. Columns look complicated to create, but are easy once you know a few tricks! We started with a balloon post, two metallic balloons and two light blue balloons. We tied each pair together and then tied the two pairs together to make a set of four. Push the set of four down onto the balloon post and keep adding your balloons until you reach the top. Remember to twist each set of balloons to create a spiral look.
Create the chains by using white twisty balloons. Tie them off in a circle and link each balloon until you reach the ground. We added a rock to the last chainlink to weigh it down. Add a mylar snowflake balloon to the top of your column for the final touch!
Frozen 2 Themed Decor & Desserts
Unleash epic birthday powers with a dessert table that features all the birthday guest’s favorite treats. We started with a Frozen 2 Table Decorating Kit to set the mood for the table. Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff and Sven frame the table and the guests loved to pick out their favorite snacks. We served cupcakes, rock candy, marshmallows and gumballs. We personalized chocolate bars with Grace’s name for an extra special touch. Top each cupcake with a Frozen 2 cupcake pick. The kids will love it!
Customize the Party For Your Birthday Kid
Welcome your guests with a fun entryway DIY that’s so simple to create! We grabbed our favorite decorating fabric, gossamer, and simply tied off long stretches of the fabric to the bannister. Cinch the bottom of the fabric with some silver gossamer and add snowflake cutouts to the stairwell. For the final touch, we added the Frozen Kingdom Castle Standee with white metallic gossamer and cotton filler for a frosty look. Remember to customize your castle with the name of your birthday boy or girl!
Frozen Plates, Favors & More
When decorating the table, we wanted to stay right on theme. We started with a light blue table cover and added Frozen 2 dinner and dessert plates. The kiddos loved the white rose decor and even got to take one home at the end of the party! Plus, they loved trying on all the tiaras and jewelry. Don’t forget to pack your Frozen party favor bags with fun goodies for the guests to take home!
Our Frozen 2 birthday party was so much fun! Maybe try this theme out for a Frozen watch party and then everyone can head to the theater to see Frozen 2. No matter how you celebrate, we know it will be magical.
