Friendsgiving Party by Erin Dove

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, which means it’s time to share {and celebrate!} all of the things we are grateful for, like our friends. And what better way to do this than by hosting a party? Friendsgiving to be exact!

There are so many Thanksgiving-themed party supplies to choose from. When planning a party I like to find one signature piece and build from it. For Friendsgiving, this simple sturkey napkin was my starting point. It pairs so nicely with burgundy napkins, ivory and gold-trimmed ivory and gold-trimmed dinner plates on top of a gold charger.

And how cute are these silverware holders with gold cutlery?

Each setting was personalized with a rustic placeholder and the labeling didn’t stop there! Drinks, of course, needed to be labeled and these chalkboard labels on mason jars {trimmed with twine} certainly did the trick, all while adding more rustic detail to the party.

One of the best features about this party would have to be the chalkboard table runner on top of the burgundy table cloth. This way you can encourage each guest to write something they are thankful for!

The rest of the Friendsgiving table was decorated with candles, gourds, and fall-colored leaves.

Another important thing to have at your Friendsgiving party is a stocked bar cart! Complete with wine, some fall spirits, and pretty gold straws!

Lastly, a party is never really a party without a dessert table! Since this was a Friendsgiving a gold balloon display above the dessert table is a must! {Especially, when it spells out something appropriate for the occasion and includes a hashtag!}

Our chalkboard table runner came in handy again, this time serving as a dessert labeller! A little Thanksgiving pennant also added a super cute touch to the desserts!

What’s a good party favor for Friendsgiving!? Leftover favor boxes of course! And you can even personalize them with your own chalkboard labels. Add some twine and ribbon to tie them together for a fun detail.

Cheers to Friendsgiving!!!
