A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of planning and styling a beautiful wedding. Our inspiration was the Pantone color(s) of the year for 2016; Serenity and Rose Quartz. Rose Quartz is a soft pink and Serenity is a grey blue. Did you know that Shindigz carries a huge variety of products that are perfect for your wedding? I’ll show you how I personalized some beautiful items for this romantic and fun wedding!
I work with a lot of brides and I love to come up with new and interesting guest book ideas for them. My couple, Madison and Herbie, had the most beautiful engagement photos taken, so I wanted to include those in some way. In lieu of a traditional guest book, I thought that having the guests sign a big canvas of their engagement photos would be a fun keepsake for them. Plus, they can hang it in their house later! I took their engagement photos and uploaded them to Shindigz’s website and they turned out beautifully! I also ordered a canvas of Madison’s bridal portraits to welcome the guests. All you need is some permanent markers for the guest to sign the canvas!
The wedding was held at the beautiful Memphis Botanic Gardens and we set up some outdoor cocktail tables around a gorgeous fountain near their ballroom. For our centerpieces, I had the florist incorporate the gold modern glass centerpieces. These are an inexpensive choice but look very upscale! She surrounded them with Jackson vine and a small rose and added a candle. They were the perfect centerpiece with our ivory linens. They brought in the gold accents of our palette and gave us a hint of glamour.
Around the corner, where our guests entered the ballroom, I personalized this White Chalkboard Frame Standee with all my couple’s wedding information. We included their names, wedding date and of course their hashtag. No wedding is complete without a hashtag these days! All the guests loved this and took pictures with it. Madison and Herbie had to have a picture with it, too!
It was a beautiful day, so I wanted our guests to be able to be outside. Everyone loves corn hole right? The kids even love playing it and it’s a great way to keep them busy during a lengthy wedding reception. I chose the Gallery Collage Corn Hole Boards and put their engagement pictures on them. I love that they will be able to keep these and bring them out to play anytime they have guests over or go tailgating! It makes a great gift for a wedding, too!
