Bunny Hop Eggstravaganza

Hey everyone it's Jamie from Five Whimsy Lane and I am so excited to bring you some fun ideas for your Easter celebration this year. I can't believe we are so close to Spring, it feels like Christmas was just yesterday. With Spring comes warmer weather, beautiful blooming flowers and of course Easter! Definitely my most favorite time of the year so I couldn't wait to get my hands on a party. I put some pretty dresses on my two girls, gathered up some of their friends and we all did the bunny hop until our ears fell off.

I used so many great products from Shindigz for this party. The kids table alone with its tissue paper grass runner and bunny centerpieces was so adorable. Each little bunny got their own set of ears and handmade whiskers along with a picnic basket lunch full of yummy snacks and a mini water bottle.

The main table was so fun to design. It featured details like Hippity Hoppity Hydration custom labels, Hoppy Easter paper plates and some adorable carrot silverware. I started with a pretty white tutu table skirt and made a fun ribbon garland to go on top for some added color.

Pink lemonade was served up in our bunny drink dispenser with coordinating bunny cups. These were so easy to make, just take a white paper cup and add a cute bunny face tag to the bottom.

The older rabbits need to eat to so for the adults I set out Spring shaped sandwiches, veggie garden snack cups and a yummy pasta salad.

Whenever I think sweet treats and Easter I think jelly beans so I wanted to use those thru out. Color coordinated Jelly Belly's were used for carrots, bunny noses & bunny tails. A colorful spring mix was used to line a cake stand and showcase some chocolate candy bars with custom labels.

I used some adorable cake pops to make up a carrot patch and a mini egg hunt by utilizing more of the tissue paper grass spilling out of flower pots.

The finishing touch was these adorable Easter basket cupcakes. By gluing together a paper snack cup and pipe cleaner I turned these simple grocery store cupcakes into a festive treat. Topped with edible grass and a few more jelly beans they were a huge hit with the kids.

After everyone was done nibbling, the kids cleaned out their basket and used them for the Easter egg hunt. We ran off some more sugar with a good old fashioned sack race and getting our picture taken in the Bunny Hop Eggstravaganza photo booth.

When it was time to say goodbye all the little bunnies hopped on their way with a Bunny Bait carrot bag full of an enormous supply of jelly beans. Thanks for hopping by & Happy Easter!
