We used it for selfies. For props I had Sun Glasses, Beads and Margarita glasses. It was a great success. As long as you stayed close up, it looked like you were at the beach. The quality of the paper and the clarity of the picture was superb. I wish there was a way to make taller than 4ft. I did not try to match up the sand, but read that it did not work.

We used this as a background to cover the gym walls for a Hawaiian theme Dance. It really added to the atmosphere.

This was used as a backdrop for photos at a high school Hawaiian themed dinner. The quality was good, the paper didn't tear at all and it was great to have such a good quantity on the role.

We used this paper for a Cuban themed school dinner. It was nice quality and very attractive, fitting the bill nicely. Like other reviewers, I do wish it was wider than 4 ft. as we were covering an entire wall. We did double up on sand, but still fell short on coverage, so used some grass skirting. One more thing is that the paper is a bit glossy. This meant that when the light hit it, every wrinkle showed. Would be better if it were more matte. But all in all, I would buy this product again!

Love the quality. This is the second year we have used this backdrop. Wish it came with another roll style that could be added to it so it could go to at least 72". We needed to cut extra rolls to get more beach sand. I realize you do extra beach in the plastic, but it doesn't compare the the quality of the paper rolls. If it matched we could possibly use it to extend the bottom, but the colors were a bit different.

Using this product for wall covering for a large room being decorated for couples attending a marriage retreat. The object is to provide a relaxing scenery for those attending, and this product helps us to do that.

I used this as a 65th anniversary luau to use behind the food servers. I wish it had been taller. It does look good under the straw. It was difficult to hang because we used so many kinds of tape to get it to stick to the metal screen or the wall covered in stucco. We only used 1/3 of the roll--it is heavy to unroll while trying to hang, so you need several people to help.

This was bought for our VBS this summer. I was very impressed with the look of the background. It looked great on our walls. The kids loved seeing it. It really lent to the atmosphere of being on an island in the ocean. I would recommend this to anyone out there who will be having an ocean theme event. My one complaint was that it was not wide enough to cover the whole wall. I was also very impressed with the company, itself. It was very easy to order online and the delivery of the items was prompt. I will continue to shop here for my VBS, youth group and party needs. Great deal for the price.

Okay, this product is awesome! I cannot believe the quality is so great considering how little it costs. There are web sites that charge ten times as much for "murals" that are only 4' x 8'. This roll is gorgeous, and is 4' x 50'! I am eager to use it to line the front exterior wall of our house for our son's high-school graduation party in a few weeks. Our front covered porch is 50' long by 10' deep. We will extend the roll the length of the front porch as a background for his Survivor-themed party. We intend to affix it with high-quality blue painter's tape which will hold well and remove easily from our vinyl siding after the party. I can't wait to see the looks on our guests' faces when they see it. Again, awesome!

I plan on using this for setting up party decorations, by making a display of this background, but I think it is too short; i wish it could be taller. So what I plan on doing is cutting some of the "sandy" area and pasting it to the bottom so there would be more sand. This roll is very long. So I don't mind using a little more of it to make it taller. I plan on pasting to it a ship cut-out, a net and some seaguls (purchased all these here as well). I anticipate that this will look great. Recommend this product. It is good quality and the price is acceptable.

My daughter's 7th Birthday theme was Teen Beach Movie. We used this in our basement where the guests gathered to watch the movie. I made the room seem like they were at the beach!! It is great quality and we will use it again and again!

I bought this backdrop to use for my church's Hawaiian themed Christmas party. It arrived within a week of placing my order. It was very durable and extremly long! We cut it up into 4 sections to put a section on each wall of the gym. I used double sided tape to put it up. You do need to use a very strong tape or it will fall down. We ended up having to use some push pins to keep it in place. The only complaint is how short it is. It is only 4 feet tall. We wanted to use it as a backdrop for family pictures with Santa. Instead of standing, Santa sat on a lounge chair and our families squatted and we took the picture that way. Overall, I am very pleased with this product!

I will use this as a cruise ship door decoration background. Due to it being wrinkled I had to buy extra decorations to cover the wrinkle down the center. Other then that I love the design and quality of the product.

Delivery was quick and in perfect condition. Background was made out of quality paper and is sturdy to work with. Great,colorful scene.Was used as a background for a photo.The only way it could have been better, was if it was taller. Had to take a low shot because it is short. Have ordered multiple backgrounds from this company and they all were of great quality and reasonably priced. Have been able to use over and over again before ever dealing with any ripping or wrinkling.I will continue to order party supplies from here.

This is made of a heavy paper, which we found pretty durable, much better than the thin vinyl of other designs. Held up well as we plastered the entire room. We used it for our daughter's 6th bday party - a beach theme. Do take note that is is only 4 feet in height, so if you want to cover the entire wall you will need an additional design. Confusion w/ shipping, but we live in AK and that is not unusual.

We used this paper for a background for photo ops. We added some palm trees in front of it and a few 'treasure chests' at the bottom of it. It was adorable for our Daddy & Daughter Dance, Treasure Bay Ball.

This product was perfect for our 100 ft wall that we needed to cover! The only thing that made it difficult to put up was that it was paper and was heavier than the plastic banners we put up--so making it stay up was a challenge :-) but in all it worked for our celebration and everyone loved it!!

We will use the beach scene background for library summer reading program wall coverage. While the paper will tear, it looks much better than those tacky plastic backdrops. This was the best deal for a paper photo background beach scene that we could find.

I used this background for a 30th Birthday Party for a client. Because it's made of paper, you can only use it once. But if you're very careful with it, you may be able to get one more use out of it. The paper will tear easily, but once it's been put up, you can get very creative with other decorations. It most definitely can be an inspiration for other projects in the future. It only stands 4 feet high and 50 feet long. If it rains, you're out of luck with this product. But if it's a sunny day or inside, you can get the most out of it for your bucks. If you're a professional event planner, like I am, you may not want this backdrop. It's very colorful, but the it very, very short and the sand backdrop they have is plastic and doesn't match this backdrop at all.
