Who is excited for Halloween? ME! I love coming up with a fun, new twist on my Halloween parties every year. I enjoy classic Halloween parties and colors, but I also like to make it very scary! Last year, Shindigz helped me cover my house in giant spiders and spider webs. This year, I wanted to create a very scary adult Halloween party. Halloween doesn’t have to be all about the kids! So what’s the scariest theme you can think of? Bloody! These new Bloody Good Time party supplies were the perfect theme to really gross out my guests!
I settled on a Bloody Dinner Party for my theme. To create your own, use the Bloody Wall Scene Setter room roll. It’s eight feet tall and will make your walls look like there was a murder scene! I just taped it right to my wall with simple Scotch tape. On either side of the table, these bloody-mouthed hanging zombies held onto a garland of bloody weapons like scissors and saws.
On the main party table, use a red polyester tablecloth and top it with a Bloody Good Time plastic table cloth. Cover your plastic folding chairs with white stretch spandex chair covers. To give the chairs a bloody feel, I stuck this 3D bloody drip window décor to the back. This really gave it a gross-out factor.
Each place setting had a Bloody Good Time dinner plate, dessert plate, and napkin, with Silver Premium Cutlery. For an extra "shot of fun", I made Jello shots for each place setting with this fun Party Shooter Syringe Shots set. Yum, right? No party is complete without wine, so I served our red wine (of course!) in Wine Taster Glasses.
To create a really gross table centerpiece, I took a simple white cake and poured edible red glitter gel all over the top, then I stuck this Bleeding Nightmare Knife right down in the center. It’s such a simple, but scary way to give your guests a creepy dessert! It would be really great with a red velvet cake! To create a spooky mood, use these white metal candelabras and red candles. They will drip down when they are lit and they look so great! Chopped up "body parts" like these zombie hands and feet make the perfect decoration to run down the center of the table.
And, of course, you have to be perfectly dressed for a Halloween party, so my husband and I chose our Halloween costumes from Shindigz’s awesome selection. I went with a classic Spartan Goddess, which I love because I am a huge fan of history! My husband chose this awesome inflatable T-Rex costume. He has been chasing the kids through the neighborhood already! Plus, it’s extra funny to see the T-Rex serving the cake, right?
Have a Bloody Good Time at your Halloween party!
