Really love having this for my baby's nursery. The theme is Narnia and I wanted a lamp post to decorate and create a pretend "Lantern Waste" corner. I love the soft lighting the lamp post provides, as well as the charming decorative touch it adds to the room. My main complaint, I think, would simply be that I had some trouble attaching the weighted base to the rest of the lamp post; eventually, though, I was able to get it all put together and it is only very slightly crooked (it is on carpeting now, though, so you would never really notice that).

I was wanting classy looking street lamps to use for our Christmas stage at the church. When I realized these were plastic, I was concerned about the quality. However, when they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised about the quality. They are a heavy sturdy plastic with a very ornate design and a sand-weighted base so there isn't concern about it being knocked over. The little crosspieces under the lamp head don't fit quite as tight as I'd like. But, other than that, it's great. It looks great and has nice solid construction. Perfect for our application.

While the photos don't show the mural yet, this lamp post will be standing by a mural of Paris....to complete the look of the city. Used these lamps for a Mardi Gras themed party to coordinate a street scene. They added a nice touch, were easy to install. As they are lightweight, and we used them in the middle of a room, we felt they needed to be anchored a bit more to avoid being knocked over. Accomplished this by putting each on a box riser (they looked better a bit higher anyway) and secured with duct tape all the way around base. Again, since they were in middle of room, couldn't plug in, so we used battery operated candles instead of light bulbs. Also, would like to add that these items were on back order when I initially ordered, but I was notified of availability when expected, and they were delivered in a very timely manner. Very good service.

We used these for our city street scene for platform at Christmas. They were perfect! Loved the way they added to the atmosphere of our sanctuary. We had them on the entire time from Thanksgiving until the first week of January and the bulbs never burnt out. The company is a great company to order from as well. Their customer service is fantastic and took great care in answering all of my questions. My only regret is I didn't order a dozen! But we couldn't spend quite that much! I plan on ordering more in the future.

We used these street lights as part of our fundraising auction entitled "A Night In Paris." These could not be used for a primary light source, but they did add to the decor. We removed the bulbs and put in 4-inch LED pillar candles.
