Rock & Roll Record Centerpiece

I loved the idea of these. They are very cute but very flimsy. Although they are flimsey they make a cute centerpiece. They will not stand in the stands that come with them. I had to put some hot glue in them to make them stand up and the label pops out very easily from the record, but it is all made of plastic. If you are looking for something strong these are not at all, but if you are looking for something really cute, then these are perfect. Nothing a little hot glue cant fix. I used these for centerpieces for my father's 88 birthday and they were a hit. Everyone loved them.

I was planning a Motown themed party, so I used these records as table and wall decorations. I bought laser CD labels and customized the record label with a Motown topper. Any CD label can be placed over the paper label they come with.

The centerpiece was a hit! We did modify it with our own label (table names). It was a little flimsy but worked for our needs.

I purchased 2 sets of 6 to be used as centerpieces at our Woodward Dream Cruise luncheon scheduled for 8/16/2013. The records were damaged upon arrival, and I immediately contacted the company. A new shipment was sent out immediately (free of charge). The new arrivals were damaged as well, but I could salvage enough from both shipments to accommodate our needs. As we are not using them for another 2 weeks my initial comments follow: they are a tad flimsy and may work out better for an indoor party. I plan to use some clear packaging tape to secure them to the tables so that they don't blow away. I may even insert a toothpick in the base to make the record stand up straighter. It is an attractive product...I hope they stay on the tables. Everyone at your company was very courteous. I would order from you again, but I would read a few reviews on the product before placing the order.

We used these as centerpieces at our fifties party and they looked good on the tables. They are kind of flimsy and some of the bases were a little crumpled when we got them. The centers also come out easily, but once they were put on the table they stayed in fine. They worked good for our centerpieces at an indoor party. They weren't exactly what I was expecting, but they still added to the party by giving the tables a more fifties look. I would recommend them, but don't expect thick plastic records. They are pretty thin.

These records were not stiff at all and wouldn't stay up in their stand. So they couldn't be used as centerpieces. Instead we tied ribbon around them and hung them inside from the ceiling and outside from the umbrellas over the tables. They looked fun that way. But I didn't have any centerpieces.

These were bought for a "Grease" celebration, 40 tables. Some of the records were bent, and some of the labels had fallen off.

It was to be used as a table centerpiece but it did not stand up real straight in the holder it came with. The groove in the stand needed to be tighter or deeper.

Purchased set of 6 to be used as table decorations for a 50s party. In photo they look like hard plastic, but are made of soft plastic. All records are flawed, some stands and most labels are crumped (hopefully labels can be ironed flat). Records will not stand straight in stands without a toothpick. There are grooves on both sides, but have definite front and reverse sides. They are a clever idea but poorly made.

I purchased these based on good reviews, this was the only product I was not happy with. They looked cute, but were very flimsy & unable to stand without some creativity with tape. The bases were too small & not cut deep enough to hold the record up. We made it work & the tables looked nice but I would not buy these again.

These are a good idea, and the actual record part is pretty good, but the paper insert that goes in the center of the record and the base are very poorly made. This makes the whole thing seem "cheap." It is also very hard to get them to stand up straight. I would not recommend this, unless it was for a child's birthday party or something. These are too cheap for a prom, formal event, etc.

These will be centerpieces for a 50's school reunion. The center labels were thin cardboard. they should have been thicker quality and more sturdy. They were packaged poorly and were all wavy, sort of looked warped, and would not stay in the center of the record because of their dents. I may have to glue each and every one to keep them in place and this is a hassle.

Will be using this product for our 50th class reunion as table decorations. It is perfect for our theme. The only complaint would be that the record doesn't stand up straight but leans. However, a toothpick remendies this problem.
