This 3-D decoration is sparkly and fun. It looks best when hung taught, instead of draped. It requires simple folding of the "cap" portion, to get the mortar board to hang horizontally. The "cap" also needs to be folded flat for storage. Because it was one of the more expensive single decorations, I only purchased one, and hung it on the middle beam of a canopy tent. The black looks dark purple in some lighting. Overall, I am satisfied with this product, am glad that I purchased it, and would buy it again.
