This product was great! We spray painted them with three shades of beige, off white, tan, and the columns looked amazing. The painting was simple, no wrong way to do it, we just lightly sprayed one shade then the next and then the next, the result looked like marble. They were used in a wedding with a large pot of flowers on the top and a Ivy garland and lights going around the column. No one could tell they were cardboard. Beautiful! I just purchased another set for another daughters wedding, we liked the look so much we are having more in this wedding.

I bought these thinking that they would make a nice addition to my wedding ambient look. When I Got them I was a little dissapointed with how flimsy they were and the fact that it came in 2 pieces - the seam was incredibly noticable. I felt like anytime I would walk by them they were going to fall over. The slightest touch would send them toppling over. and the bases looked like giant pizza boxes. I feel these could be decorated a little nicer for the price, but if you need something to put off in the distance at like a school dance or something, these could work. I would not reccomend using these for your wedding. We only used them after I spent days weighting them down, and redesigning the bases to look a little better.

Easy to assemble for sure. Other than that very unhappy. Looks cheesy and like pizza boxes on top. No time to do all the extra work to make them look good for wedding pics. I have decided to rent some and have a bonfire.

We had to stuff gossamer between the column and the base to make them sturdier, which was ok since it looked pretty. A few times people leaned on them and they nearly went over. They look way more solid than they are.

I ORDERED THIS ITEM FOR MY DAUGHTERS WEDDINGS I AM ALSO A PARTY PLANNER AND DECORATOR. ONCE THEY WERE PUT TOGETHER AND DECORATED THEY WERE BEAUTIFUL AND GIVE ME THE DESIRED EFFECT I WANTED. I WOULD RECOMMED THIS ITEM FOR ANY WEDDING. THEY ARE VERY STURDY AND VERY EASY TO PUT TOGETHER. GREAT VALUE FOR THE PRICE.

These columns were put together at 7am, an hour before our event started. They were a snap to assemble and looked great to be made out of cardboard.They were a great deal for the price. Also very durable. They survived a day-long event for high-school students. We were even able to tear them down and store them for the next event!
