About 2/3 of the way thru the assembly we changed things up and did our own assembly. It is too hard to push the lights thru the corrugated siding so instead of spending the time putting on the lights we decided to use an "uplight" at the bottom and we cut out some of the windows on the building. It looked great this way and made the building appear more realistic with some lights in windows on and some "off." When added to the Empire State Bldg and Statue of Liberty the room looked like we were in NY.

The skyscraper looked great once it was built. It took about 3 hours to build and we put wooden screen molding in it to make it more stable. I think it was a great value and it looked perfect up on our fashion show stage. The lights really make it great.

This is a great looking product that is perfect for a school dance or fashion show prop. It will add some additional lighting to a dimly lit room or a dark area that needs more light. Unfortunately, it takes about four hours for one person to construct, and at nine feet tall it might be difficult to transport to the event. Overall, it makes a grand statement and will add a lot of character and elegance to your event.

Comments:
Not hard to build, but could have more braces or supports to stablize the two sections that have to be taped together. Double sided taped worked OK, but hot glue works better.
