I ended up putting this in the center of the room because it was so big. It added some illumination; but it was daytime & bright so I don't think anyone really noticed unless they were walking toward the center of the room. I was hoping to put it over cake table; because of size I felt it would be aggrevating to those trying to get their cake & drinks. It big and beautiful & easy to hang...no question about it!

I used three of these for a stage concert type event and they worked perfectly! Looked great with the lighting and definitely provided the elegant touch we wanted at an extremely low price for what we got! If you have any doubts, Don't!

Nice effect if you project light on it. Silver version gave more effect then the gold one. Good size, little thin for my taste (and prize), but still good effect.
