My son (3years old) loved this. It takes some craftiness to add the ribbon kit and the extra crepe paper that comes with the kit to hide the ribbon ends is yellow. Not so deceptive considering the shark is white and blue. I found a way to hide them under the existing paper and it worked out well. We will hang this in my sons room for a while so he can enjoy it.

Great for Decor...but too small!
The shark pinata was pretty cool. The quality was also good, but they are too small. We bought two. Good size for about 10 kids or less.

The product was great and worked well for our party of 14 1st graders. Pasting the strings on and getting the product ready definitely took time, but the kids loved it and we all had a wonderful time.

The pinata was perfect for my son's shark-themed birthday party. It was easy to fill (we did the traditional pinata, but I was happy to have the option to convert it to a pull string) and the kids all thought is was awesome. My only complaint is that when it arrived in the mail the tail fin was broken. It hadn't fallen off all the way, so I was able to work around it. I think some more careful packing would have avoided that whole dilemma. Overall, we were super happy with this item.

The shark fulfilled its role. The birthday boy and guests had fun breaking open the shark. However, I found it very difficult to fill the pinata. The opening located near the shark's dorsal fin was difficult to open. I was worried the dorsal fin would separate prematurely from the shark's body. Also, the shark look a little more drowsy than fierce. I think only the adults noticed that detail. :)

I purchsed this for my 6 year grandson and he and his freinds had a great time. I did not use the ribbons we used a stick and the did have a wonderful time! (We did i outside) and they burn off engery and had a great time doing it!
