Our Church is having a ministry fair - theme farming "The Harvest is Plentiful". This is a fun prop and sure to please all ages. Best part is we can use it again and again. Will be great for a Fall Party.

The female scarecrow should have straw hair, (not blonde) so it doesn't look Caucasian. Then all races can use it.
Try to think of everyone being able to participate without negative comments from people of color.

I stood it up at work a week or so before Thanksgiving. I put it by the elevator and had everyone take a picture before they left for the holiday and posted all their pictures on the wall for all the coworkers to see. It was fun. Brought out some holiday excitement.
For those who couldn't bend over or had injuries they just lifted it up to their faces. Lightweight, yet durable.

At least 2 people are needed to assemble. Instructions could use a photo of the back of the stand when finished assembling (to make sure that the wording matches up with the picture).
This stand-in was used outdoors - it was too cute when a few bales of straw were placed around it - in case more than 2 wanted in the photo. Be careful of a windy day though - make sure it's securely anchored.
