These hats were a good value for their price. They are just paperboard, but they look fine when worn. They were a bit small for some men in our group, but fit most of the party well. We used them as Spartan and Trojan helmets, and while they are labeled as Roman, they looked fine.
The one problem - they were shipped POORLY. I purchased them with laurel wreaths and paper cups and they were not padded or anything. They were jostled around in the box. This made them a little limp.
