I actually thought that it came with "pole stems" but that is okay...I should have read the description a little better...so with that in mind I felt it was a little over priced...Perhaps if it came with cardboard poles too it would have been priced right! We made our own using "old table cloth rolls and green covering worked great!

I am using these flowers for my mothers 90th birthday. I have printed large pictures of her face during her life and put them in the center of each flower. I am adding a long stem (like a yard stick) and put them in a flower pot.

We used these giant flowers to decorate our backyard for a spring celebration for 20 small kids (age 2 - 6). For flower stems, we tied large green bows out of wire ribbon and stapled them to the back of the flower. Then we stapled a long ribbon to the top of the flower so that they could be hung around the yard. The flowers are cardboard and only printed on one side. So, for the flowers that could be seen in all directions, we stapled two of them together to hide the back where we had stapled bows. They looked so great and the kids LOVED them. We also hung tissue paper bees (14" long) around the flowers and had a butterfly pinata to bring everything together. I purchased two sets of the flowers and it turned out to be just the right amount.
