It is true that this material does not appear as pictured. In the picture it appears soft and flexible. It is actually stiff. I thought the dance committee would not be able to use it--but they liked it and used it extensively and 20 yards (I think) goes a long way in decorating. We plan to roll it back up and save it for use in the future.

We used the product as a back drop for pictures, adn they turned out very nice. We did have to use 2 layers to get the desired color. I think the product works best indoors where you can control the amount of daylight that tends to filter through the fabric when used outside.
