I used this product to decorate round tables for a sit down luau. We wrapped the raffia skirting around the tables on top of vinyl table clothes and added a centerpiece. We also used them on the banquet tables and at the bar. The decorations looked great! It dressed up the party and turned a typical casual luau into an intimate dinner party. It was a nice addition and worth the investment. If you invest once, you can use them for other beach/ swimming parties throughout the summer. These are also easily stored.

Used it at a luau party for the bar decoration as well as another table. Had a third table with the gossamer decoration shown on this site. All tables looked fabulous. Was easy to attach to the table cloth with the double sided tape.

We had to staple this to the edge of the table to keep it attached--it wouldn't be easy to tape. It has ties at the ends, so if you were just hanging it somewhere, that would work, but we couldn't figure another way to get it to stay around the table. But that also means that it is durable. So, we'll reuse it. And it doesn't seem cheap because the shells are real and it just feels like a good quality overall.
