All latex balloons are helium quality with the exception of our 5 inch balloons and will arrive uninflated. When inflating latex balloons with air or helium we recommend inflating until the balloon has a tear drop shape. Be careful not to under-inflate (round in shape) or over-inflate (pear shaped) for maximum flying times. Latex balloons can be sealed by knotting, tying the balloon neck or using our one of our balloon closures.
Latex Balloon Flying Time:
- 9 inch latex balloons will fly approximately 12 to 16 hours when filled with helium.
- 11 inch latex balloons will fly approximately 18 to 24 hours when filled with helium.
- 36 inch latex balloons will fly approximately 3 to 5 days when filled with helium.

There is no way of telling how long latex balloons will hold simply air as they deflate over a period of time and weather conditions, where you are using them and the humidity plays a factor on keeping balloons inflated.Answered on 5/11/2012 by csr
