Purchased this for an educational performance at a local children's museum. We need 6 child-sized top hats with a few extra as back ups and we also had a very limited budget. These were perfect for what we needed them for and also for our purse-strings. They're not the most durable hats in the world but for most purposes they don't need to last for ages.

Decorated the hats with school colors, put balloon weights inside with red shredded paper and attatched school color balloons to reach high in the center of the table, even put adhesive numbers on the balloon for the class years. Classy, good looking centerpieces.

We used these hats along with some adhesive mustaches for a friends birthday party, just for fun. The hats were a perfect size for everyone's [adult] heads. They did not rip or tear (though we were not being rough with them at all). They have a good height to them, and are a shiny durable plastic. We would definitely use these again. I think they would be too large for children's heads. They were a good value for an evening of fun, and if I had collected them from everyone, they would be in like-new shape for another event too. Definitely not limited to one time use.
