I use this craft item for my daughters and my scouts in my Girl Scout Troops!! I wouldn't let real young kids do it alone!! The plastic beads get put into the design by color or you can mix the color beads(when they melt in oven, it gives it a color dot design). You start by placing the frame onto parchment/wax paper onto a bake pan, then you place the plastic colored beads into the frame design where you want them, then place it into the oven per instructions and then let them cool-then TADA instant and beautiful window suncatcher!! Way better end product than the plastic type that you paint with glass stain. Highly recommend these if you love suncatchers in your windows(make sure you put beads all over in the frame design or when it melts, you may get air bubbles or holes in the color). Great for rainy days too.
