I used this to drape from the ceiling for an awards banquet and it worked lovely. It is very easy to use and not very heavy. I was able to just use push pins to attach it to the wall. I am looking forward to using it again and will probably try to get a variety of colors and sizes to keep on hand.

Yes, this works well to wrap around the columns. It is very lightweight, so you can just keep it in place by adding a few pieces of double sided tape.Answered on 4/10/2013 by csr
