We are going to use this product at my daugthers baby shower.The theme is "A Star is Born", we set t his up to ensure it would be easy the day of the party. It looks great, easy to work with and we added blinking battery operated lights so that when you turn the lights down you see the lights constantly going like camera flashes. We are going to place it at the end of a blue carpet (its a boy) . Great product and we can reuse it for several other parties too.

A Hollywood Themed Prom Party on a budget, the Paparazzi Standee was side prop to custom Step and Repeat, w/red carpet & stanchions w/red velvet ropes. The set-up was Step & Repeat on garage facing driveway,red carpet ran to end of driveway with the Stanchions on the opposite side of the Paparazzi Standee and red carpet running between both. Added the flashing lights. Even the guests wanted a photo opt. This item was fun, unexpected and made the Hollywood Theme complete.

It was great for our Red Carpet themed event, but would like to see a cover of some sort for the back of the stand. We taped a black plastic table cloth to hide the back since the stand was not against the wall. Also, it would be best if you guys sold some sort of flashing lights to go in the camera flash holes.
Service and delivery comments:
My delivery was received when expected per my online order, however, my standee was a little beat up when it arrived..I had to duct tape it to straighten out the support pole/tube which was bent in half and unraveled and the top of my stand was bent..I straightened it out and held it together with tape from the back.

Purchased product as a party prop. At first, I thought it was a little pricey. You never really know what you're getting when you order sight-unseen. However, this product was definity worth the cost. It had a few flaws, but nothing that was not resolved with a little black marker. It is easy to assemble and comes with EVERYTHING you need to put it together. Add some LED flashes to the photo lens insets and you have an amazing and impressive prop for your event. This is not a use and toss item; you'll want to store this for another event.

This was a great addition to our Hollywood themed Winter Party for our company! We rented red carpet and velvet ropes and station a set of paparazzi on each side. We added flashing lights to the flashes of the cameras, that blinked at different rates. It was a nice touch. Everyone loved it and really felt like they were walking up the red carpet.

I'm sorry but I do not know what type of lights people are trying to use. We carry a couple of different lights that may be possible to mount on the cardboard standee. The LED Puck lights: ICELED WHI would require a larger opening to be cut or you could try mounting it directing on the cardboard however these do not flash. The Radiant Balloon Lights are a bright LED light that may be used inside of balloon to give off a glow and a small hole at each "fake camera flash" would hold one of these Radiant Balloon Lights (although these do not flash) LGTRLDAnswered on 3/8/2011 by csr
