Use party supplies to celebrate at your local Independence Day parade
Date Created: 06/29/2010
This weekend marks the birthday of our nation, and towns all over the United States will be parading floats, fire trucks and marching bands down Main Street to celebrate the event. Whether you are the Grand Marshall of the event or simply cheering from the sidelines, you'll want to have lots of party supplies on hand for this event.
For starters, you will want plenty of American flags at the ready. You can purchase a miniature flag to wave, or you could hold some mylar balloons in the shape of Old Glory to show your support.
As your favorite floats roll by, why not throw some red, white, and blue confetti in the air? Or you could really impress the procession by donning some patriotic temporary tattoos.
It's not difficult to join in the parade. Decorate your bike or a wagon in the national colors using streamers and you'll be ready to march with the best of them. If you really want to go all out, you can even have your own patriotic float!
When all is said and done, consider inviting everyone back to your place for a fun-filled patriotic party.
