Since the day falls on a Wednesday this year, you can throw a fabulous middle-of-the-week bash that is sure to give your friends a welcome break from their winter doldrums. Try out these themes that can capitalize on the unique nature of the holiday and can show off your flair for entertaining.
1. A frog-themed party. Since the "leap" year only comes every four years, take the word and run with it by incorporating a few frog-themed decorations. To ensure that your guests have a hopping good time, incorporate plenty of green flat paper, mylar balloons, streamers and other winter party supplies.
