Throw a kid-friendly cooking party to celebrate your daughter's birthday
Date Created: 01/18/2012
If you've been racking your brain trying to come up with the ideal party theme for your daughter's birthday without spending a ton of money, a kid-friendly cooking party could be right up her alley. All you really need is a large dish for them to work on and a few last-minute party decorations and you'll be more than ready to accommodate a kitchen full of little chefs.
Kids love to cook and being involved in adult-related activities for a day could help them learn a little something about helping out around the house. Better yet, they will be able to see the delicious fruits of their labor during your child's girl birthday party.
You should teach the kids how to make something they all would enjoy, like spaghetti and meatballs, as well as a tasty dessert. Invest in a few kid-sized chef hats and aprons to hand out as party favors, and split up the kids into groups so they can tackle various tasks that go into the dish.
Along with the standards of balloons, streamers and curling ribbon, be sure to use girl birthday party supplies like party tableware and imprinted napkins to make cleanup much easier.
