While most people think of green beer and bar crawls on St. Patrick's Day, that's not exactly the kind of tomfoolery you want transpiring at your child's St. Patrick's Day party. If you're looking for party themes that will appeal to your little ones, break out your green party decorations and kick off a St. Patty's themed cupcake bash.
This get-together is something you can throw together quite easily, and all you need are basic cupcake ingredients, pans and a few holiday party supplies. Invest in some party tableware and catering supplies to cut down on any messes that the kids may produce.
You should start by baking up a few of the cupcakes, coating them in green frosting and then putting out a wide selection of cake decorations for the kids to work with. Green sprinkles, hard candies and other treats can work beautifully and will give them plenty of leeway to make the cupcake of their dreams.
A cupcake party is a great way for the kids to get involved in St. Patrick's Day. After all, most kids are far more excited about the prospect of cupcakes than being forced to eat corned beef and cabbage!
