Take advantage of the beautiful fall weather with an Oktoberfest party
Date Created: 09/14/2011
If you're looking for a fabulous way to throw a fall party, there's no greater celebration than Oktoberfest. Historically, the first Oktoberfest was held to celebrate the marriage of Prince Ludwig and Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen in 1810. Being the big party-goers they are, the Germans decided that they had so much fun, they should do it every year!
Oktoberfest is known for fabulous food and delicious German beer, so make sure you have plenty of each for your bash. Pretzels are the perfect accompaniment for a tall glass of beer, so throw a few soft pretzels in the oven and bring out a few baskets of the salty snacks for your guests to munch on.
Your celebration should be a colorful and celebratory affair, so be sure to break out a few mylar balloons, personalized banners, party centerpieces and streamers to add a dose of festive flair to your venue.
To make cleanup a bit easier, be sure to use catering supplies, party tableware, imprinted napkins and other fall party supplies. There's nothing better than enjoying a stein with your best friends and it's even better in the beautiful autumn weather.
