Pirates hold a special place in the hearts and minds of both children and adults. The swashbucklers may have a less than stellar reputation thanks to history, but they inhabit a part of our imagination that make them fun and exciting.
This party requires costumes, so send out party invitations reminding your guests know they are expected to dress in their finest pirate attire.
Transform your home into a pirate's cove with photo stand ins of treasure chests and desert island backgrounds to help lend a more authentic feel to the party.
You can even get mylar balloons in the shape of pirate ships and a skull and cross bones! Going over-the-top with the event is expected.
Pass out dollar party favors or gold coins to your attendees to help them get into the pirate spirit.
