Save some money on your kindergartner's birthday bash with a peanut butter and jelly party
Date Created: 03/16/2012
Birthday parties are one of the most important events in your child's life, but if you have a large family, it can be difficult to throw festivities with extravagant party themes and innovative locales. If you're looking for a way to save money while keeping the kids entertained, a peanut butter and jelly party is a wonderful way to celebrate your young child's birthday.
When it comes to party decorations, keep it basic with personalized banners, balloons and party curtains to give the space some decorative flair. Put out a colorful tablecloth, party tableware and everything the little ones will need to make their own PB&J sandwiches.
Giving the little ones a chance to make their own meals may start to get a bit messy, but it will give them a chance to act like grown-ups for the day. After they're finished munching on their sandwiches, you can bring out an ice cream cake, complete with birthday candles for all the kids to enjoy.
It may not be the most groundbreaking theme in the world, but you can get away with it when your kids are still young. Give them a goodie bag filled with party favors and your child's birthday bash should be a rousing success.
