President throws star-studded X-mas bash

The President of the United States threw a star-studded holiday party with pop star Mariah Carey serenading the President as part of the annual Christmas in Washington concert. Carey, who is expecting her first child, was the star performer at the gala hosted by comedienne Ellen DeGeneres, reports USA Today.
The night's entertainment also included Glee star Matthew Morrison, who sang Christmas carols for the first family. At the end of the concert, the Obamas joined all the evening's performers on stage for a rendition of Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.
In remarks to the crowd, Obama spoke about the real reason for the season. "We are called to love each other as we love ourselves. We remember those who are out of work and are struggling to get by," said Obama according to the news source. He also urged people to show "charity, passion and goodwill" to others.
