President Obama to celebrate his birthday in Chicago
Date Created: 07/27/2010
President Barack Obama is about to celebrate his 49th birthday on August 4th. To commemorate the occasion, the president will be hosting a big bash in his hometown of Chicago. Want to attend? You'll have to shell out a $30,000 donation to the Democratic National Convention, according to the Huffington Post.
Though there will be another, smaller birthday party for the president hosted by real estate mogul Neil Bluhm, most of us won't be able to attend either event. If you want the help the president celebrate his birthday, why not throw a patriotic party in your own home?
To get this party started, you'll need a personalized banner or personalized yard sign to announce the event to your friends, family and neighbors.
You'll want to go all out with decorations inside your home. Red, white and blue streamers and balloons will definitely come in handy as you're planning this event. And don't forget to have some patriotic confetti on hand to throw as your guests come through the door.
Don't forget to stock up on plenty of American Flag memorabilia. You can purchase mylar balloons in the shape of Old Glory, or even place some party centerpieces in our nation's colors on each table.
