Melissa Joan Hart, star of the Nickelodeon hit "Clarissa Explains It All" and the ABC Family series "Melissa & Joey" has a unique Christmas party idea for holiday entertainers this year. According to People magazine, she and her husband Mark Wilkerson are throwing a tacky Christmas sweater party that includes a competition to find the most embarrassing one of them all.
Hart did everything from searching on eBay for tacky sweaters to using a glue gun and making one herself. The gathering has become something of a family tradition, and she starts earlier in the year looking for sweaters that could help her win the annual competition. In keeping with the tacky nature of the gathering, she also puts out fruitcake, cheese logs, pigs in a blanket and egg nog for her guests.
