Meaningful ways to celebrate secretaries at your office

Secretaries are the epicenter of the office. They play gatekeeper for clients who are coming in, help keep everything in order and, most importantly, they act as the face of your business - they are the first people the clients see and the last impression they get. Celebrate your secretaries and all they have done with an office party.
Send out party invitations in an email chain to all the employees. If you work in an office, this will likely be the most effective method in making sure everyone knows.
Create a party atmosphere in the conference room by hanging streamers and curling ribbon. Accompany this with mylar balloons or a personalized banner that has phrases expressing your gratitude. Buy or make delicious pastries or a cake. If you can, find out what their favorite flavors are and try to cater to their tastes.
Make a card out of corrugated paper with a picture of the guests of honor, and have everyone in the office sign it or write thank you messages inside.
The effort it will take to put on such a simple party is nothing compared to the impact it will have on your secretary's outlook of the office.
