Mariah Carey accepts award at charity gala

The holiday season is a time for charity and goodwill, and very few celebrities have done more for disadvantaged youth than pop star Mariah Carey. According to Gather.com, the singer was recently honored with the Noble Gift Humanitarian Award by Jermaine Jackson and Eva Longoria in a star-studded ceremony in London.
Along with Carey's recognition for her charitable efforts, the Noble Gift Gala also featured a special performance by Leona Lewis, who has also been hailed for her efforts as a humanitarian. Hopefully Carey and many of the attendees of this year's event will continue their good work all around the world.
