Justin Timberlake makes good on his promise and attends Marine Corps Ball
Date Created: 11/15/2011
Marine Corps combat instructor Kelsey De Santis knew she was taking a shot in the dark when she asked Justin Timberlake to her Marine Corps Ball with an online invitation. However, the pop star ended up attending the event as her date and it turned out to be one of the most moving nights of his life, according to People magazine.
The event, which was held at the Richmond Convention Center in Virginia, was held for the Instructor Battalion of the Marine Corps, and everyone in attendance was enthralled by Timberlake's presence. The pop star was touched by the humble nature of De Santis and her fellow Marines, and gained renewed perspective on how much they do to keep America safe.
