Jason Aldean throws platinum album shindig

It's rare that recording artists can attain platinum status these days, so country music star Jason Aldean thought this was a great reason to celebrate. Aldean's album, My Kind of Party, is his third to go platinum and he and his closest friends commemorated the occasion at Terrazzo in Nashville, according to The Tennesseean.
"I think nowadays even a gold record is a big deal for an artist," Aldean told the news source. "I don't think anyone should take it for granted because you never know if it's going to be your last one."
Aldean and his band partied the night away at Terrazzo and posed for pictures with their glittering new platinum albums.
