Hold a sledding party to celebrate your son's birthday

A boy birthday party in the winter can be severely limiting to your party ideas, and you don't want to do yet another birthday at a bowling alley or create a huge mess in your home. Luckily, the winter weather offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor fun, and there's no better cost-effective celebration than a sledding bash.
Snow is obviously going to be the determining factor in your celebration, so if you haven't had any recent snowfall, look into backup options for snow tubing at local ski areas. When you have the location set, be sure to include instructions in your party invitations to bring a sled and plenty of winter clothing!
When the day's activities are through, have all the kids warm up at home and get ready to serve the birthday cake! Hang up personalized banners, streamers and other boy birthday party supplies, and be sure to have party tableware and imprinted napkins to serve your delectable cake.
Brew up some hot apple cider or hot chocolate for the kids. After a long day of sledding, they're going to need a way to warm up!
