Give your Fourth of July party a Western twist

Many people may not know that the Fourth of July is also National Country Music Day. If you're putting the finishing touches on your barbecue and you'd like to commemorate this holiday as well, you can quickly turn one of the most fun holidays of the year into your very own Western party.
The Western theme will lend itself easily to your July 4th celebration, so break out your favorite country CDs and set up your stereo outside. You can do this easily by bringing out an iPod dock that you can place on a patio table, or run some speaker wire outside so that you can control everything from your central stereo system.
Give your cuisine a Western twist by whipping up some cowboy burgers which feature barbecue sauce, cheddar and bacon, or try making an Arizona specialty called the Sonoran dog. This features smoked bacon, chopped tomatoes, onions, salsa and cheese.
Make sure that your celebration is a rousing success by decorating your home with mylar balloons, party centerpieces, streamers and other western party supplies that are sure to wow your guests.
