Earth Day is April 22 and it's the perfect time of year to take a look at some simple ways to be more sustainable. You can do your part by hosting an Earth Day event to spread environmental awareness. One way to do this is by gathering a group of friends to clean up a section of a park or beach, and then celebrating your good deed afterwards!
Invite a few of your closest friends, and gather some trash bags and head to the nearest park. Take an hour or two to clean some trash from a park or beach to help make your community look a bit greener this spring!
You could also choose to hold a craft activity that can benefit the environment. Constructing bird houses or planting a few trees can go a long way to making a lasting impact on your environment.
