Emily Deschanel welcomes her first child

Emily Deschanel, the sister of Zooey Deschanel and star of the Fox hit "Bones", gave birth to her first baby boy on Wednesday. Deschanel and her husband David Hornsby are overjoyed at the prospects of parenthood and are more than ready to chase a little one around the house, according to People magazine.
This is the first child for the couple, who were married in 2010. Deschanel has been very vocal about her preparations for her pregnancy and even maintained a vegan diet throughout the entire process. A baby boy will certainly change their lives and Deschanel hopes to be back on the set of her show very soon.
