Elton John and partner are proud new parents

"We are overwhelmed with happiness and joy at this very special moment. Zachary is healthy and doing really well, and we are very proud and happy parents," said the couple in a statement.
The baby was born in California and weighed in at just under 8 pounds. This is the first child for the couple who are overjoyed to begin parenthood.
