Disney prepares for not-so-scary Halloween events
Date Created: 09/08/2010
Disney World Florida is preparing for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween party on September 14, which helps kickoff a two month long event calender that includes 24 spooky evenings of fun for the whole family.
The Magic Kingdom will take on a haunted look, but will still retain its happy, family-friendly atmosphere. Visitors are encouraged to dress in their favorite costumes, and will be able to trick-or-treat around the theme park's grounds.
There will also be Mickey's Boo-to-You parade which is lead by the Headless Horseman from Sleep Hollow. Attendees will also be treated to face painting, fortune telling and costumes contests.
Although Halloween isn't until the end of October, it is never too early to starting thinking about hosting a killer Halloween party.
Balloons in orange and black, along with streamer string that can be used to make spider webs, make for great Halloween party supplies.
Freshly carved jack-o-lanters make for great party centerpieces, while photo stand ins of classic movie monsters like Dracula and Frankenstein are perfect additions to any Halloween party decor.
