Dior ventures under the sea with party celebrating a new store opening

London has been blessed with another high-end boutique on Bond Street - Dior opened a new store and threw a huge bash to celebrate.
According to Women's Wear Daily, creative director of Dior, John Galliano, requested that the party be otherworldly and feature a standout centerpiece, which set designer Michael Howells provided.
"John said he wanted something from another world, and under water is another world," he told the news source.
There was a large tree in the center of the store that resembled a luminous piece of coral and it featured an assortment of sea creatures such as glittering fish and pink seahorses.
Guests included actors Eddie Remayne and Matthew Goode and models Lily Donaldson and Stella Tennant. They were treated to glasses of champagne before indulging in a delicious sit-down dinner.
